          Thank you viktor_angelov! It’s using a distance shader as mask in a layered shader. And by filling solid inside and hide the sphere it can look like craters, easily placed and moved around. All displacements are driven by maxon noise shaders. Really happy this worked so easily, fast and stable

            Thanks for explaining it, torebernhoft I am sure everyone that reads this thread will find it very interesting. I am curious to see an animation sequence. Maybe you can share with us a video when it's done
