AxF support... again

Hi - I work with partners using x-rite's AXF Material. While Maya and Max versions of v-ray have plugins available to read this file format, there is no plugin available for V-ray for Cinema4d. So I cannot use the same materials
Will a Cinema plugin ever happen?
And who is responsible for the creation of the plugin - is it purely X-rite or does it require a push from chaos or maxon too?

The Max/Maya plugin for V-Ray isn't developed by Chaos, for sure. Usually for such plugins, it's up to the distributor of the library (in this case the X-Rite team) to make the decision to develop the plugin for Cinema 4D and of course do the development work. If there is anything that needs to be implemented on our side to help support their development, then it's up to the X-Rite team to contact us and share all the details needed for us to be able to assist with this.

Maybe it's best to contact the X-Rite team and ask them if they have any plans on adding support for Cinema 4D and V-Ray.
