  • Rotating texture inside material - UVWTransform?

    Hello,

How can we just simply rotate a texture by 30, 60, 90 degrees?

I was hoping the Vray UVWTransform will do that, but it only strangely shears the texture, instead of rotating.

Any advice what or how to use that?

I just found out - again - that in vray node UVW Transform works somehow better.
Here's a screenshot how UVWTransform translated into the classic material:

aleksandar.kasabov Maybe you can help - Why are vray node channels different and not available in classic material setups?

      Hello RwVision,

Deyan has already explained the situation with the classic UVW Transform shader in detail in this forum post. Currently, in the classic shader, instead of showing the transform parameters as their decomposition of scale, rotation and translation, they are shown as their vector representation in the composited matrix with offset.

This is logged in our internal system (request ID: VC4D-2465) and we will let you know if we have any updates on the matter.
