    The display of transparency materials and metals surfaces and surfaces with reflections in a viewport must be corrected.
    Such material is now represented as black. When this type of material is predominantly present in the object, the object becomes completely unreadable in the viewport.

    It would be wonderful if all the vray 5 materials in the viewport looked as good as the native materials.
    And maybe in the future even SSLR (screen space local reflections) and other c4d effects will be possible for vray5 materials?

    Viewport representations for the materials is still not implemented we have only basic texture previews. Unfortunately we have a lot more to catch up with V-Ray and most importantly fix everything that is currently reported. I understand that having a preview is very useful (I'm a fan of having previews myself), and it is in our to-do list but not with high priority at the moment.
