    Hi,

After tinkering a bit more with the plugin, I've noticed few more issues. Nothing really bad but still it would be nice to have it fixed.

( I'm using it in GPU RTX mode exclusively )

    Issues

    - V-Ray MultiSubTex : add the Random by Element mode present in other plugins, quite needed
    - V-Ray Bump Material : preserve base material link when copying-pasting between scenes or saving it in the Preset Browser.
    - While we are at it : same for Layered and 2-Sided ( I've checked, same issue )
    - V-Ray Triplanar : keep existing texture when adding the Triplanar in a channel where a texture is already loaded.
    - VFB : Compositing layers sometimes disappear. I've tried few times to find the cause without success. It seems at first related to switching from viewport camera to scene camera(s). Quite annoying.
    - V-Ray Material Anisotropy : the slider acts strangely with ALT modifier ( doesn't stick to 0.1 increment but 0.196 )

    Question

    - Does normal map need UV coordinates ? It doesn't seem to work unless the projection is set to UVW ? If so it would be great to have support for the standard projection modes.

Good job on the plugin though. Even if it lacks few features for my needs at the moment, it is quite stable and responsive. The deep level of integration is really nice, especially the ability to use native C4D textures in GPU mode. Hope you'll keep improving the plugin in the same spirit.

    Thanks !

    - VFB : Layers are deleted or resetted in random way, almost every time I re-start IPR (GPU)

Has someone else noticed that ?

Hi John_Do, sorry for the late reply. While some of the mentioned issues are planned for future updates and fixes, we found a cause for the disappearing/resetting VFB layers, when material preview scenes are changed (it may also happen when a new material is created). We will include the fix in the stable builds soon, so you may try if the random resetting is fixed for your workflow.

Thanks ! I usually don't play with the mtl thumbnail scene, so I guess the apparently random factor was in fact adding materials, which I do frequently.

My trial period is over. Is the period resetted when a new stable build is available on https://download.chaosgroup.com/ ?

Same here, sometimes it sticks, sometimes the layers are lost.

Just lost it again - I think it might also be strongly dependent on when you minimize the layers window to the side.
