  • Missing and wrong information at rendering

    Missing:
Can't find any information displayed, which tells you which frame is actual rendering.
At the screenshot for example is actual rendering frame 138...

Not essential, but would be nice...

    Wrong:

VFB says rendering takes only about 3 min.
the rendering looks indeed finished after 3 min. but with saving, it takes about 10 min. in total...

I think this is a real issue, as it costs time/money

Hello again, any idea why it takes so long to save the files...?

      Hi haniel1107 ,
can you please tell me the exact version of windows that you're using as well as the Cinema 4D version? For example Windows 10 Home 1803 or 1903, with Cinema 4D R23.101. It is important for us since those processors are known to have some problems with some older windows versions, and we want to know if this isn't the case. Sharing the scene so we could test it here would also be helpful for us.

      Thank you for the feedback!

Hello Shaio, I asked my client...
I am sorry this is not possible, as these are high confidential car datas from my client.
Nothing to do with trust, but they don't allow it...

            I understand, thank you.
Sometimes we don't need the full scene and stripped down versions also work as long as the issue reproduces but this might not be the case here. However, you can send me an empty scene file that includes only the render settings, All materials (no textures) and all the render elements. If the issue is indeed in the saving image phase I won't exclude the possibility where a specific setting/parameter causes the slowdown.

This is of course an option. Thank you.
Where can I send it to?

                There are two options.
                • You can upload the file to your preferred file sharing platform (Dropbox, Google Drive etc.) and send me a private message here on the forum with a link to the file.
                • Another way is to send it to support@chaosgroup.com with a link to this thread. The support team will send it to me after they receive it.
