  • Render Region Advanced settings - missing?

    Hello,

Where can I find the Render region advanced settings and set proper sequence type?

Those settings are deprecated for V-Ray 5 for all integrations. With the new sampling methods and optimizations there are no benefits from having them. Furthermore, the implementation that existed with 3.7 was not going to work well with the new V-Ray Frame Buffer.

      Thanks for reply,

I just want to set the buckets to go "spiral" or sometimes top-bottom etc. Does matter in some projects. Does this option not exist in V5?

I don't think so, while the current triangulation mode is the most efficient, I always liked the spiral mode since starts to render from the focus of the scene.
Is not a top priority but would be a nice feature to have. In the mean while if you want to get something similar you can use the follow mouse option inside the VFB, by right clicking on the center of the image you will be able to lock the starting point.
