  • Goes Archicad in Distributed Rendering ?

    Hello everybody

when I create a new scene, DR works. as soon as I load a model from Archicad it doesn't work anymore and it renders buckets.
    Can anyone confirm that,
does anyone know what to do?

    thx.

Check that the imported geometry doesn’t have overlapping faces or inverted normals, and of course be sure you are using only Vray materials.

Sorry, I forgot to say that it works in Vray 3.7 without problem, just not in Vray 5.

and the problem is with all ARCHICAD files

Hi alex_obrist, there is a known issue with missing Phong tags on geometry causing such wrong buckets when rendered in DR. Could you check if adding Phong tags to all rendered geometry would fix the problem?

          Hi Deyan
Yes, you are right if I do the Phong tags everywhere then it works.

            Hello alex_obrist ,

The issue with the missing Phong tags has been fixed in the latest stable builds. You can download and install it from here:
