issue when activating view dependent in displacement detail

hi, when I enable "view dependent" in displacement mode , after a minut or so of rendering ..... Error message and crash. I can't just restart C4D because it does not open. I have to reboot the system for C4D to open.

Windows 10
2 RTX5000nvidia 16GB each
64GB ram


any suggestions?

sorry for the late replay. The reason why you cant open Cinema 4D is because it never closes. You need to open the Task Manager and kill Cinema4D.exe, and then you will be able to start it again. As for the crash unfortunately it might be entirely something in your scene since I'm unable to reproduce this on any scene I tried for both V-Ray and V-Ray GPU. If possible it would be great if you can share the scene with me in a private message.
