  • Black squares on final rendering / GPU Mode

    Hey guys,

I'm currently testing Vray for C4D and I'm running into the following problem: unfortunately, black squares are appearing everywhere in my rendering. But this only happens when I use scan materials.

Otherwise it's a very simple scene, car on white background, simple HDRI....

In IPR mode everything looks fine, the problem is only in final rendering in bucket mode.

    C4D R21.207
    latest Vray release
GPU Cuda, RTX also has the same problem.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

Hi omnomnom, can you give us the exact model of your GPU card and GPU driver version. There are known problems with specific GPUs when using the scanned material.

        Hey omnomnom ,
can you please share the names of the scanned materials that you use as well? It will be very helpful when trying to reproduce the issue to be as close to your setup as possible. Also did you try if you're experiencing the same issue when you're rendering with RTX not CUDA?
        Thank you!
