  • VRayMultiSubTex not working correctly on VRay Proxy in GPU mode

    Hi everyone,

It seems like there is generally a bug with the VRayMultiSubTex and option "Random by Render ID" in combination with VRay Proxy in GPU mode. I try to randomize every cloner instance of the proxy by that shader, but it's not showing random colors in GPU mode - while it does in CPU mode.
I tried already different ways of exporting the .vrmesh or assigning texture in different ways. The same setting (for MultiSubTex) is working for a regular polymesh in the cloner just fine (see in the file). I tested a lot to make sure that my settings don't cause the issure, but maybe I'm doing something wrong here?

I attached for you some pictures below and a file that contains the scene and the mesh. Could you please have look?

    Thanks,
    Felix

      Thank you!

By the way: the same behavior occurs with both supported file types - .vrmesh and .abc - and the option "Random by Face material ID".
