fog with sun generates strange shadow

I have problems with using environment fog in combination with the sun. It seems that the sun throws a strange shadow on the fog. With moving around the "shadow" moves as well.
I'm not sure if I'm missing something? Can you help? Simple scene is attached.

The issue with the V-Ray environment fog in combination with V-Ray Sun is now resolved and you can find the fix in our latest stable build. You can download it from here:

it's working now. I'm very happy and can finally render my scenes without crazy (fog)workarounds.
