  • DR Rendering warning - MtlUVWSelect requires at least one UVWGen instance and one string ID

    Hi everybody,

if I am rendering a scene with DR, I am getting the following error message and my rendering is completely black:

warning: MtlUVWSelect requires at least one UVWGen instance and one string ID. Material name r_Schleife_C89AD206A6C7A148@mtl_uvwselect, uvwgen count: 0, string ID count: 0.

The strange thing about it is, that I used this object with this material in another scene already and didn't get any warnings.

Can anyone tell me, what it means and what I can do to fix it?

Have a good start into the week and thanks a lot for you help

    Hello Anna1,

Could you please share some more details about the issue that you experience? What are the exact versions of V-Ray and Cinema4D that you use? Are you rendering with V-Ray CPU or V-Ray GPU? If you are using V-Ray GPU, please share the specifications of your GPU and GPU driver.

Also, does this happen with any scene or a specific scene only? It would be great if you could share a test scene where the issue is reproducible. Providing as many details about the issue and the steps, needed to reproduce it would be very helpful.
