S24 asset browser issue

Trying to grasp the new asset browser in s24.
At the start it turned out that it works badly with vray5 objects and materials. Or am I doing something wrong?
I want to create a database of my objects, but I don't know how to do it so that there will be no problems with vray5? Somebody knows?

V-Ray 5 for Cinema 4D S24 doesn't add any support for the new features introduced with S24. We just added support for using V-Ray inside S24. Support for the new browser will be coming in future updates.
It is important to note that the new asset browser is completely different from the old one and the issue you're experiencing isn't going to be with V-Ray assets only. For example the Cube or Sphere objects inside the new browser are completely different from the ones inside the legacy browser.

I checked and there are no similar problems (etc, loosing textures) with objects with c4d or redshift materials.



I look forward to the next vray updates to be able to work on the s24.

It should be happening with the old browser as well. If you have a grouped object added as an asset in the library it isn't going to work as expected. It was already discussed here on the forums, and it might be related. We will look in to this. Thank you for the feedback Makushimu
