Overzealous Licensing check combined with poor internet connection leads to frozen interface

Seems like licensing check is CONSTANT, it keeps an open connection to your server in NY. If that TCP connection is interrupted for any reason, it leads to frozen C4D interface.

Is there a better way of doing this? I mean it's stricter than some of the law enforcement portal apps.

Pirates who reverse engineer things, bypass this check anyhow. Only thing it's affecting is paying customers who're not using a cracked version.

Keeping in mind, whenever you guys upload any updates to the server, everyone using C4D + V-Ray (at least on mac), are forced to wait until service is restored.

Not to mention, every customer of yours generates this much traffic for which you have to pay for monthly.

I noticed (I think so) that with offline license mode I have a lot less vray related c4d interface freezes. They still are, but suddenly the hangs associated with continuous rendering of materials are shorter, more rare and less annoying.

I bet. Now you have me searching up 'How to offline license'.

It's 1 less variable to worry about. Plus I've noticed even with solid connection, the licensing service in NY is not 100% stable either. Those minor hiccups throughout the day, add up to at least 30 minutes of waiting.
