V-Ray Proxy Full Geometry Preview + Large Alembic files == C4D Crash

To recreate C4D crash

a) add V-Ray Proxy and leave it on Preview Geometry mode
b) point it to large (4 gig+) alembic file
c) change from Preview to Full Geometry

Apologies for the delayed reply.

I attempted to recreate the issue with the bubbles-new.abc and I didn’t manage to get a crash of any kind.

Can you please provide me with the file that results in the crashes? Also, can you please provide me with the macOS version and exact version of Cinema 4D and V-Ray?
