When I change the texture-path in the Project Asset Inspector (>Globalize Filenames…) from absolute to global, this change is immediately shown with the new, global path in the Inspector-window. Unfortunately those changes are not saved permanently any more. When I close the Project Asset Inspector and restart it or I close the project and load it anew, the path is again an absolute one. The same issue appears with Corona (version 7, hotfix 1). As Maxon says that this is a problem of external render engines, one cannot expect any help from their side in this matter. Any idea when this issue will be fixed? Managing texture paths is essential for complex scenes and relinking textures and files manually is a time-killer.

Hello Shahyn,
I apologize for the delayed reply.
Upon testing this on my end globalizing or localizing filenames worked as expected and the file name was saved once I close and open the Project Asset Inspector or reopen the scene. Can you please share the exact versions of Cinema4D and V-Ray that you have installed? Also, does this happen if you are using the Standard renderer with native Cinema4D materials? Thank you.Aleksandar Kasabov
