FUR crashes

Dear all,

I seem to be geting frequent crashes wen using vray Fur. Even wen I use the standard fur setup, 1 on 2 times I start a production render, vray crashes.
I usually use vray Fur for grass simulation in archviz.

Any tips?

My advice it to avoid using Vray fur for the grass, better to use a scattering tool and real geometry in multi instance mode. That being said it should not crash, here is very stable even while working in IPR.
Have you check RAM usage? If you have a scene you can share I can check if I can reproduce the crash.

As sirio76 mentioned above, please share the scene in question so we can have a look at it. Are you rendering with V-Ray or V-Ray GPU? Also, please provide information about the V-Ray and Cinema4D versions, OS, RAM, etc. It would also be helpful if you can send us a dump file from the crash.
