  • production rendering ignores lights exclude list and mograph/ dynamics cache

    Hi!

I'm having this strange issue when using the production rendering. I set up a simple animation with some mograph effectors and dynamics simulation. I cached everything and set up a few exclusions in the light setup. Everything works fine while previewing with interactive rendering but when i hit the start production rendering button everything falls apart
The cached dynamics sim doesn't appear in the render and the previously excluded light still affect the surfaces they shouldn't. This issue persists with c4d buitl in output system and with vray output system as well. I've done a viewport render just as a control sample and it displayed everything it should.

Any idea why this is happening?

Hi akos_kiss, can you share which version of V-Ray for Cinema 4D are you using. Also sharing a simple scene reproducing the issue would help us investigate it.
Edit: Note that we fixed an issue with light exclude lists relating object hierarchies in our latest update, which may relate to you problem.

      Hi deyan.hadzhiev!
I just updated to the latest version (5.20.00) and it works now. Btw i was using cinema 4d r23 with vray 5 update 1.4.
