  • V5 Update 2 - bump channel is inverted

    Hi aleksandar.kasabov

I think we had these inverts back in the day also.

Can you tell me if a quick fix is available? I can't mess up my materials in scene now, reverting back to previous version...

    Hey RwVision ,

This is actually a fix to a previous behavior of the bump maps being rendered inverted in some cases. It was pushed to Update 2 alongside some improvements that we made during the implementation of the Cosmos Materials in V-Ray for Cinema 4D. Unfortunately this will break some user scenes like in your case for which I apologize.

    Thank you for the understanding!

So from now on this is the normal behavior, is that correct?
