Hey greymiura ,
Thanks for writing back.
I'I'll take some time to take a more in-depth look in to this and talk with the devs about it to see what is going on. I guess the Aperature and Shutter Speed are not supposed to affect the exposure when the "No Exposure/Exposure value" mode is selected and should be grayed out like the ISO parameter. With that being said my answer above could have been a bit misleading and having a different exposure than Phisycal doesn't consider the iso aperature and shutter speed. We will doble check this in our code to make sure they're grayed out if they have no effect.
I'll double check this with the scene you shared. Since the Physical camera is a shared resource in V-Ray and any changes that we potentially want to make/fix would affect the other V-Ray integrations as well, so I'll need to check if we have the same begaviour there or is it something expected and then fix it if needed. This will take some time.
Thank you for your patience I'll update the thread when I have some more info,
Thanks for writing back.
please believe me, I'm so terribly sorry. Honestly. I mean, this is the most basic stuff and I just can't wrap my head around it...
This is mostly unrelated to the topics discussed above: You suggested switching to Exposure Value or No Exposure, but when doing so the ISO parameter gets greyed out on my side and the Aperture and Shutter Speed values don't affect the exposure in the least. I tried pretty extreme values which should result in a 23 EV range.

thanks for your reply! Am I getting this so terribly wrong? Here are two examples from a very basic scene. All default values except from the activated Specify Field of View option and the deactivatd Vignetting.
