This specific approach is currently only viable for local rendering and doesn’t apply to distributed rendering, as that requires a slightly different approach to ensure network traffic stays low.
How Adaptive Bucket Splitting speeds up V-Ray’s rendering | Chaos

Hi leo_a thanks for your reply. This doesn't sound that will happen soon, or?
But now the actual standalone for DR rendering isn't compatible to the latest release of vray, as you can see in my screenshot. Or am I wrong?
Thanks..
PS: But forgot to mention... the improved bucket rendering seems to work very well ...thanks for this... and imagine with DR... could be worth some DR licence again...Last edited by haniel1107; 10-04-2022, 04:39 AM.

Hello haniel1107,
Have you installed the latest V-Ray build on both your client and your server machines? Please make sure that you have the same V-Ray versions on both machines and let me know if you still experience this issue. Thank you.Aleksandar Kasabov

Hello aleksandar.kasabov .. sorry, my mistake.
I was using the standalone, but after installing the latest version of Vray5 for Cinema it works.
Thank you!!
Do you know, if the Adaptive bucket splitting will be implemented for DR soon, or is it more something on the list for the future?

Hello haniel1107,
I am glad to hear that installing the latest version of V-Ray resolved the issue.
