Asset browser compatibility

I tested with vray 6 for c4d2023 17 Sep.
Vray scene thumbnail display does not work. They are rendered in black.
Currently, the scenes with vary are also taken as those with redshift.

Watchfolders are a nice addition, it would be nice to use it with vray scene files.

Are those node materials or classic materials? There is a known bug where the node material previews in the Asset Browser are upside down. The issue also only happens in Cinema 4D 2023 and Cinema 4D R26 and is not reproducible in other Cinema4D versions.

Hi,
In have tested again asset browser this in C4D 2023.2 with vray. Materials thumbnails are renderer almost ok in asset browser. They are only up side down. When the material and texture are rerendered, the preview turns upside down. ;p
C4d scenes still do not have previews. ;(
I raised the topic in c4d support and got the answer that views should work. If there are problems, it's the fault of the vray developers.

We have resolved the issue and implemented the fix into the latest stable builds. You can download it from here.
