  • Vray 6 Scenes default to samples limit 4 after being added to the render queue (Vray GPU)

    Vray 6.00.01 - GPU
Very unusual, any scene added to the Cinema 4D render queue will only render at a sample limit of 4, no matter what setting was saved in the project (default 2500, bucket sampler). When the render is stopped and the project is re-opened it will be set to 4 under samples limit.

    Hello scott_canuel,

This is a known bug that has been previously reported and we have it logged in our bug tracking system /bug ID: VC4D-1575/. It seems that this parameter resets every time the scene is saved. This only seems to happen when the sampler is set to Bucket mode and doesn't happen if the mode is Progressive so you can use that as a workaround until we fix the issue. I will let you know once we have any updates on the matter. Thank you.
