Material is not taking over the selection tag name

Hi, I am using the Vray6 hotfix 3 Version on Windows in the latest C4D 2023.
When I am changing the selection name in a selection tag, the assigned material is not updating automatically.
Normal and Node material. Is it a bug? Thanks!

Hello haniel1107,

I don't think this is related to V-Ray at all and it is C4D-related behavior. Testing it with the Standard renderer and native C4D material yields the same results. You can contact Maxon for more information in this regard. Thanks.

I haven't tried it with native materials... thanks... then this seems to be a cinema bug... bad, this could take time...

contacted maxon, it is not implemented now. I think I mixed it up with target name. Targets are updating…
