I made a test of this scenario, which worked well in cpu mode, but froze the whole software in gpu mode. I also tested it in a scenario with only a few pellets, and the gpu worked properly. It seems that complex scenarios cannot be used, is this a bug?

I think it seems to be related to the vrayc4dbake shader of my folding curtain material

Hello 123456_,
I had a look at your scene and I managed to reproduce the issue on my end as well. Even though the material of the folding curtain might be related to the issue, it is not the only reason for it. I have now reported the issue to our developers so they can have a look (bug ID:VC4D-1848 ) and I will let you know if we have more information.
It also seems that the issue is only reproducible when rendering with V-Ray GPU in bucket mode. Switching to progressive seems to resolve the issue. I hope this is of help.Aleksandar Kasabov
