Why does Multi Matte become darker when used as a color palette mask, which leads to the inability to tone reflected and refracted objects

Your video added both objects as selection areas, so changing the color will definitely affect both of them. You can take a look at the project I uploaded. When I checked the Multi Matte channel, the selection area was bright, but when I displayed the color palette mask, the selection area became dark. Therefore, it is impossible to modify the refraction and reflection parts. Normally, these two masks should look the same, not one should be bright and the other dark
