Yes, that works thanks. I've just upgraded to the latest C4D 2024 - will VRay 6 work with this?

Yes, there is a V-Ray 6 for C4D 2024. You can download the today's stable build from here: https://nightlies.chaos.com/main#/vray6c4d/stable/6.1
