  • Problem loading a movie

    Hello everyone. I'm having a problem loading a movie into the texture channel. I need to view a movie on a screen, but when I load the material it goes black.
    The problem is with both .mp4 (h264 codec) and .mov (prores codec)
    I'm using cinema 4d S23 with the latest Vray on MacOS
    Where am I doing wrong?​

    Hi luca_bazzini​,

    I regret that currently, V-Ray for Cinema 4D does not support animated formats for input. Supported Bitmap formats are HDR, EXR, PNG, BMP, TGA, SGI, JPG, PIC, TIF, PSD, VRIMG. Image file lists in the form of IFL files are also supported.

    Аs a workaround, you can convert your video file to an image sequence and load it that way.​
