Is there a way to make the rendered image use the Composite mode effect?

Hi 123456_ Would you, please, clarify what the situation is? It would be great if you could demonstrate it via a video.

This is just a simple demonstration, just like in the video. I hope the final rendered image will be the red one in Composite mode, not the white one in Lightmix mode

yeah i'm finding the way lightmix works in composite a bit weird, because if you make changes to the lightmix of the composite layer, you cant then save it or apply to the scene, so the default 'source lightmix' mode will not be the same.

Maybe an option to either (in composite mode) save lightmix to a file, apply to scene, or a 'from composite' option in the 'source lightmix' section would be a nice to have feature?

123456_ It's a good thing you are asking. We have implemented a new feature Duplicate to Host Frame Buffer that you can use to achieve what you want: http://ftp.chaosgroup.com/support/sc...7_15-31-40.jpg

The new feature is implemented in the new V-Ray 6.2 Official Builds that you can find here: https://download.chaos.com/?platform=70&product=47

Good functionality, but what if I want to output animation?
