  • Flickering white spots in animation

Hello, may I ask for support how to avoid such flickering white spots in the moving tree, like in my rendering attached.
I am using the the movie camera and the default rendersetting. I tried both, Brute Force and light cache.

Using a HDRI in a dome light as light source..

    Win 11 / C4d 2024 latest and latest vray 6 nightly

    Thanks

Hello haniel1107 When rendering an animation it is expected to get fireflies or flickering artefacts in certain cases. When this happens all we have to do is increase the settings so the Render engine has enough time to clear those our or you can use a Denoiser to remove them.

Optimizing the Render settings can be tricky as you need to balance between Quality and Render Time. We have an article that can help: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/a...vs-Render-Time

If you decide to use the Denoiser Tool, you can read more about it here: https://docs.chaos.com/display/VC4D/Denoiser+Tool

Finally, there are some tricks you can use to deal with such artefacts: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/a...d-still-images
