  • Cinema 2024 doesn't clean memory after application closing

I dont know if it is Cinema or Vray (or Windows maybe?) problem:

After application closing (Cinema 2024+Vray 6.2) memory usage is about 20GB/64GB (depends on what project i have been working on). Looks like cinema or vray doesn't clen memory. Task manager process killing doesn't help (I cant see any process that use 20GB, nor Cinema 2024 visible)

Only computer restart solves problem (so then I have about 5GB/64 RAM in use)

In Cinema 2023 i have similar problem, but after closing application i can still see Cinema in task manager & i can kill process.

Problem doesn't appear in Cinema 26

    Windows 10
AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz
    64 GB RAM

Hello piotr_lotaa Thank you for contacting us. Could you please uninstall V-Ray and test again.

If the situation is the same, than you might need to discuss this with someone from Maxon.

Otherwise, please install the latest V-Ray Stable build and give it a try with a simple scene: https://nightlies.chaos.com/main#/vray6c4d/stable/6.2
