material override don't preserve alpha channel

Hi there
did anyone notice that when we tick material override, it don't preserve alpha channel. this is a must for us to test light with trees and leaves
Am i'm doing something wrong?

We are aware of this situation. Unfortunately, this is a Maxon functionality that is currently not supported in V-Ray.
