  • How should Vray render new particles for c4d 2024.4

    How to solve this problem

  • #2
We have plans for adding support for the new particles in the future, however it is highly probable that we will not be able to add support for their rendering in 2024.4. The major problem is that the API for the new particles is only available in the 2024.4 SDK, and using it would mean that we would have to change the minimum requirements for V-Ray for Cinema 4D 2024.
We are still looking into options, so we will keep you updated on this matter.

All mainstream renderers already support particles in 2024.4. vray is too slow. Maybe it can support 2024.4 separately. As far as I know, Arnold did this. They built an xdl64 file specifically for 2024.4.
