  • Rendering: Metal Material is show a circle lines?

In my Rendering is coming a strange circles lines on the Metal rail.
I did the rendering with a Domelight Hdri, and my configuration on the render are progressive with GI Light Cache.

I also try with Brute Force on both engines, but didn't work, the lines still there.

The Material: I use from Chaos Cosmos "Aluminium_Anodized_Darkgray" on the first floor, and on the others floors "Metal_Brushed_Random_40cm.

    Thanks for your time.

Hello christina_nbrega Thank you for coming to us! This should be an optical illusion what you observe. It is something that would appear in real life as well.

You could add these materials to a straight object, something like a wall, and observe that the illusion will not appear.
Also, you could change the angle of the camera in the scene as it is and you will observe the lines will shift and eventually disappear.

christina_nbrega if you think this is not the case, please, share with us information about the Cinema 4D ( Help > About ) and V-Ray for Cinema ( V-Ray > Help > About ) versions you are using.
Also, Save the scene with Assets ( File > Save Project with Assets ) and send it to us so we can observe it. You can do that here or by submitting a ticket to our system: Submit a request

That’s a moiré effect https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moiré_pattern and it happens in real life as well, you can avoid it by using higher resolution renders or by using a softer filter.

          Hi Viktor

Is there any workaround to avoid this effect?
My C4D is 2024.5.1 (Student License).
          V-ray 6 for C4D, Update 2.3 (...jun 26 2024)

Would be great to share the scene with you. But to share here I don't know how?

          Thanks for your help

Regarding the ways of sharing a scene, I have mentioned two ways to do so, please, refer to my previous post.
You can simply drag and drop it here while writing a post.
