It looks like the V-Ray output dialogue doesn't have a "compression level" for DWAA and DWAB compression types.

DWAA and DWAB compression level for .exr ?

Hi wolfgang_himmelfarb, unfortunately V-Ray still uses an older version of the OpenEXR library (version 2.3.0), while the compression levels for DWA and ZIP compression types were added with version 3 of the library. So we will definitely consider exposing the compression levels once we update the OpenEXR version V-Ray is using. Please note that updating a core image library is not an easy task, so I can not give you a timeframe when this might be done at the moment.
Would you mind sharing why do you need to change the compression level? Is the default compression quality suboptimal, or you want more precise control over the size of the saved image files?

we also use the dwaa and dwab compressions for a lot of our work and it works well for most of the task. Until the compression value is exposed i would suggest to use an app called EXR Compression and it works amazingly well for rebuilding exrs or changing compression types after rendering.

wolfgang_himmelfarb, upon closer investigation, I found that it is actually possible with the current implementation, but unfortunately we missed it. So we will try to add at least the DWA compression level, but I can still not give an exact timeframe for this.
