  • Shadow Layer - unexpected Result

    Hello,
I try to generate a shadow layer.
I added in Render Elements "Shadow"
    But the result is confusing!
In the Scene there is a shadow catcher on the ground!!!

What I expect to get is a grayscale result where only the shadows are dark and where is light the result is white.
But what I get ist something different.
And there is no shadow on the ground.

    Question:
How do I get a "Shadow Layer" with Shadow on the Shadow Catcher Layer Floor?

    Regards Ronald

      Hi Kissling,

Don't know if it helps you, I usually render out "Matte shadow" and level it out in Photoshop. I'm curious though what Viktor came up with.
