  • 2-Sided Flicker, Multisubtex Flicker

    Thanks in advance and for for any pointers!

    I recently finished an animation clip and it looks great except for some flickering assets. I've isolated them to an object with MultiSubTex shader for random color and curtains that are 2sided. Attached is what my materials look like. I thought they were coplanar surfaces or z-fighting but after inspecting the file it looks like it's the materials. The 2-Sided curtains and random color assets are behind glass. Any thing I should be aware of when running animation using 2-sided and MultisubTex random? Looking forward to running a render mask on the few assets I have to correct!

    Thank you for the reports. In order to avoid this, please select another node (e.g., Object ID, or Render ID).This was fixed but will be added in a future release.

      Thank you for the reply. Any thoughts regarding the curtains. the Multisubtex is clear to me but not the two sided issue.

        Hey,

        Interestingly, I recently watched a really good sci-fi animation in which a spaceship escapes the laser built network grid. Anyhow, please attach the material which caused this flickering defect in your animation to check it.

          Sorry I took so long. I'm also not against giving up and doing some opacity so let me know if that's easier.

          sh#t, I also pasted it into a new scene. let me know if you need my render settings. GI engine is brute force.
