    Hello,

    i struggled for hours with a scene always crashing.
    I discovered that a VRay Clipper which have to cut an objects hierarchy with an activated cloner inside, and also having to cut instanced copies of that hierarchy, will cause C4D to crash

    if i disable the cloner, or delete it, or make it editable in a polygon obect, then it works.

    Here is the c4d scene in attachment.

      Also here is another bug with clipper: if unfortunately there is an empty instance in objects list to clip, C4D will crash.

      Once again here is a very simple scene to demonstrate it. clipper bug empty instance.c4d

        Thanks for the second scene. So far, it appears that both scenes are affected by the same issue, even though it may not seem like it at first glance. Our development team is aware of this and is working on a fix and I’ll get back to you once it’s implemented.
