V-Ray node materials don't work with c4d Background object

Hi All!

i've just discovered that the V-ray node material doesn't work with cinema 4d s background object. Only the v-ray standard material and c4d standard materials work.
I've also noticed that the Foreground object is not supported with either of the node or standard vray materials. I could swear i remembered it as being supported along with the background object back a few versions ago.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Regarding the issue with V-Ray Node Materials not working with on Background object, we've logged this in our system (VC4D-2516). If there are any updates or development on this, we will make sure to reach out.

As for the Foreground object support in V-Ray, I encourage you to submit it as a feature request in our Ideas Portal. In the meantime, I'd like to point out that our Background layer in the VFB can be used as a foreground. (see example)
