  • Bad flickering in Animation on a single object

    Hello,
I have a problem with some lights from an electric car which is flickering at the edges.
I thought it is caused by other elements, but even with this single object in my scene the flickering happens.
The build up of the light is animated by a ramp in the material.

Also tried Bucket and progressive, Brute force and Light Cache with and without path guiding, with and without denoiser.
Any help is very much appreciated.
    Thank you!!

      Hello haniel1107,

This could be caused by the Moiré effect as the flickering lights are very small. I am looking at your scene to see If this could be improved and will get back to you with more information.

          Hello haniel1107,

Increasing the minimum subdivisions to 6 or 8 seems to get rid of the flickering in the lights. Keep in mind that this will increase your render time. Please give it a try and let me know if that helps with your issue.
