My Vray-license has expired. Now when I open C4D files that have Vray shaders, Cinema freezes - for minutes. Then, with luck, you can click until it freezes again. When I delete the Vray shaders, Cinema runs again without any problems. It can't really be that I can no longer work with the Cinema files that I have created. Does anyone have the same problem?

Hi steilvorlage.de Thank you for sharing. Please let me know what version of V-Ray you are using ( V-Ray > Help > About )

Also, once Cinema freezes go to the Task Manager, right click Cinema 4D and generate a DMP file to share with us.



Another thing you could try is to stop the Material Previews from the Preference > Renderer > V-Ray > Materials and see if this helps



Finally, please, let me know if you have any alternative servers ( IPs ) that you have set on your machine.
