While the problems with displaying the standard material remained unchanged in 5.1, I have to admit that the nodal material works much more efficiently. The new nodal material in the viewport is displayed much nicer, faster, and also renders the preview faster and better. Good work.
I have a question (as with standard material) about displaying transparency and metal surfaces. If it is better, all materials are displayed in the viewport based on the diffuse color, transparency is ignored. Same with reflections and metalness.
Will the correct display be implemented in the future?
It seems that I will be converting everything manually one more time, this time for nodal materials. Converter would be nice.
