Hey 123456_
The AO parameters in Render Settings were deprecated quite some time ago (which is the reason why we never added them in V-Ray for Cinema 4D). It's just 3Ds max that has it because of compatibility with old scenes. If you want to have an ambient occlusion pass you can use the V-Ray Dirt shader added to the V-Ray ExtraTex render element. With some tweaking to the colors and the radius of the Dirt shader you can achieve the same effect and then compose it back you your final render.
