Here's the new feature highlights:
Rendering
- Added a "Pattern ID" texture for an improved and simpler workflow when assigning materials.
- Added a "Random" texture for a more convenient way to generate random values to use in the shading network.
Houdini integration
- Added support for multiple Post-Translate Scripts, allowing you to extend V-Ray with custom options specific to your workflow.
- Added support for textures embedded in HDAs using the "opdef" prefix.
- Added support for the "Representative Node" option on HDAs.
- Added a "Pack Scene" option to simplify RFE submissions.
Texture Baking
- Added a V-Ray Renderer TOP node, allowing you to export VRScenes or start final renders during the execution of the node graph.
- Added support for Post-Translate scripts to the V-Ray Baker Tool.
- Added support for the denoiser render element to the V-Ray Baker Tool to further speed up the texture baking process.
