    hey guys, is it possible to use an object merge node inside of a V-Ray Material Builder Node?

    I think it would be nice to keep things clean and neat. Like you could have a single place to load a bunch of textures and then call them with an object merge.

    That way a texture is only ever called once instead of multiple times since it can instanced with an object merge.

    The other benefit is that it will reduce the amount of wires in the node graph making the workspace cleaner because it functions like a radio node.

    What do you think? would it be good to implement the object merge inside of the V-Ray Material builder?

    Andrei added a Reference Shader VOP today. It should be available starting with tomorrow's nightly builds.
