enviro fog gizmo workflow

I`m probably missing something, but where is the gizmo selection dialog/list for the enviro fog effect now? I need to limit the env fog effect to specific region(not light) and just want to set gizmo to custom shape i have. Was this changed? I dont want to use volume grid workflow this fog, for other reasons...

Create a material, connect env. fog to material volume, set material opacity to 0 - your object should be filled with env fog.

Sounds good! Is the material BRDF connection required too? Or i`m safe with just connecting the fog?

It's required for now. Opacity 0 will leave only fog, between 0-1 will blend.

hm. Just tested it quickly, it works but when fog container geometry faces overlap with other regular geo, i get usual coplanar artifacts..., with opacity 0 that is.

yup, that's a known problem - offsetting with a very small value should resolve this.
