  • Unclear on Fur shading

    I've got a large patch of shaded geo that Ive dropped a vrayFur node on... what are the requirements to get the fur to read the shading colors... is a texture map input required? vertex color attrs?

    edit: idiot - figured that I just needed to shade the grass itself... thought Id done that, I hadnt

    Hi bender83 , uvs are sampled automatically and you could just assign material with maps. If you want to use attributes in shaders then need to unpack V-Ray Fur and transfer the attributes, check this forum thread for an example of how to do that.
