    Hi guys. I compared fresnel node, with complex_ior OSL shader that I found on docs, and what I discovered that the results are different for the same values.
    I've atached emample image. What I did is that I plugged fresnel/osl shader into reflection color of vray material (I unchecked use fresnel in material) and as you can see result from fresnel node is darker than the one from OSL shader. So, one node is not correct. Which one?

    Ok, I figured out, sorry for confusion. OSL complex_ior shader is designed, for conductor/metal materials and it is not meant to work for dielectrics/non metals. I compared results with renderman, and renders are matching each other when used properly.
