Filtering of which nodes are shown inside the material builder network is handled by the material builder node itself (like VFH is filtering/showing only the nodes we support), so we can't do anything about that issue...

Sorry to bring this again. But why this happens just with Vray though? You are saying "Filtering of which nodes are shown inside the material builder network is handled by the material builder node itself (like VFH is filtering/showing only the nodes we support), so we can't do anything about that issue..."
But if I have Redshift and Arnold + 3DL loaded and just drop an RS material builder I do not see any of the Arnold nodes the same happens if I do an Arnold Material builder, as soon as I add Vray it shows up everywhere. So my question is how is that RS, Arnold, or 3Dl do not do this?
This becoming annoying so please if you guys can find a fix that would be greatly appreciated.

Not being able to do anything about this, just isn’t true. Vray is the only engine that does this so it’s clearly something that doesn’t have to be that way. I don’t know the specifics but it sounds like the vray builder needs to be looked at or something. It is really annoying

Hey all,
We are completely aware that it can be frustrating and the developers did take a hard look the last time the topic was brought up. We are looking again and I've also mailed SideFX - hopefully they can help out with a solution. I will update the forum thread once we know more.
Best regards!
